Internal Medicine Spokane is a fully accredited, three-year internal medicine residency program academically affiliated with the University of Washington School of Medicine.

Our faculty hold clinical appointments in the department of medicine. We accept seven residents each year.

Residency training occurs in the above two hospitals (less than a mile apart) and in adjacent ambulatory clinics.

With no county facility in Spokane, the majority of your residency experience comes from meeting the needs of the underserved population as well as unassigned patients either from Spokane or surrounding communities. Thus, training occurs with your own patients under the supervision of full-time teaching faculty.

Rotations with our expert clinical teaching faculty provide additional subspecialty management and consultative experiences on a broad spectrum of private patients.
